Anton & Lulu - WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

The best quote for this couple is the ones from Lao Tzu, "To Love someone deeply gives you strength. Being loved by someone deeply gives you courage". That's how their love story is somehow; accepting each other weakness and made it as the strengths in relationship that make them stronger each time.  Anton and Lulu just had their wedding on the 27th of January 2011 which is a bit unusual day in Indonesia to have a wedding - we usually do over the weekends.

I forgot the name of their church but their holy matrimony is done in catholic ways which I love.  Yeah their session is a lot longer but somehow, I just fall in love with it, apart from not letting us to step into the altars for the shots.
You know what I love the most from their wedding? Is the parents expressions and the couple happy face throughout the whole session. Their schedules wasn't as hectic as the other couples I used to capture although they did the same thing as the others do. Whether it was in the church or at the reception itself, both of their parents never failed to show awesome expressions, Salute for them
Done with the Holy matrimony's session, they went back to their hotel and I came along with them too. Right after they got into the room at Sheraton Hotel, Jakarta; the groom and his best men changed  their clothes while the bride and her maids right away hunt for the food. ha-ha-ha! funny! See, how easy going the couple really are. Nervous is definitely not in their dictionary. So we only got left with the beautiful girls.

After DONE with around 20 minutes photo-sessions of the girls, we went to the reception place for them to do the retouch. Look at their faces! they really are having fun on this beautiful day of theirs :)

No matter how much Indonesian people loves the western culture, but we are still keeping our marriage traditions as much as we can. For chinese people, we have this tradition of bowing to the elders and other family members and in return, they would be given the couple either a red envelope (ang pao) or gold jewelries. This tradition is called as "Tea Pai" ( if I wrote them correctly, at least that's how we said it). And in return the bride & groom need to given away the red envelopes that they prepared for the kids and those who aren't married too

The bride loves kids so much even at their wedding, there were kids dancing performances too which is cute. These four angels love to be the center of people's attentions! Since their wedding is just fresh from the oven and myself haven't done much, so I only randomly picked these two photos and edited them for a sneak peek =)

And above it all, me and my team is being so thankful for the trust they gave to us even to capture their Sangjit's session too! Their families are so adorable and really having a strong bond between each other. They treated each other with so much respect, love, laughters and even me and my friend as their photographers could felt the warmth of family-hood, thank you so extremely much :)

Just like previously entry, for more photos, please kindly join my Facebook fan page at Aozora Photography . The couple wanted us to post their photos as much as we can through the page of ours and we'll definitely be glad to do so ^_^

Astons Prime Review

ASTONS PRIME is located at the 3rd floor in Central Point, Singapore and this restaurant is recommended with my friend who's living in Singapore. And I thought, why don't we give it a go and had to admit that I'm so much in love with the awesome food they have! For the price itself, it starts with around $ 15 I think but it's worth for every penny you spent! The place itself is quite cozy and it's really a great place to eat, drink, and either for hangout or business meeting.

Since my mom was kind of full so she just decided to have beef lasagna. We thought it would just be average taste or even crap since their main food is actually the steak. Me and my aunties tried it and had to admit, we love it too!! So whether you wan to eat the heaviest food (steak) or the lightest one (the soup), each of them taste good!

I think this is called New York's strip and my aunty ordered it in medium done. The grilled and the sauce itself is great enough at least I don't taste this kind of tasty steak down here in Jakarta. It's good!

My other aunty ordered this one and I really couldn't remember what this one called but it's the house's speciality. I think this one is Prime Rib eye Extra Cut and once again I've to admit its seriously taste great especially if you eat it with my lamb chop's sauce, it tastes much better ^'^

Mine has the cutest name ever! This is U.S Kookaburra Lamb Chop! The Lamb Chop is kind of tasteless but it tastes great when you eat it with the Kookaburra's sauce they served. I chose mashed potatoes and Broccoli and Cheese as the main dishes which made me extremely full. And wait this is not all my menu, my aunty who ordered the Prime Rib wanted me to finish half of hers so definitely I'm so overloaded with beef and I'm loving it!

And after we had our super duper heavy lunch, Mom desert, Vanilla Ice-cream is out! The ice-cream itself is also so creamy and I'm in love with it too! I asked for another scoop but mom didn't let me! Hard to believe that whether its the appetizer, main course and desert is actually great.

So for those who either live or visit Singapore, make sure you give a shot to eat at this delicious steak restaurant. Never taste steak as good as this one throughout the places I ever ate in Jakarta. Although it's a bit long to serve but whether its the price or the waiting moment, its worth it. Each of us happy with the menu we had especially mine who had to eat super duper lots of food. Great Food ^_^

Elisa & Davis - WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

On August 2010, I captured their PRE-WED and they also told me and my team to be their "photo-booth" photographers. Luckily, my friend came along with me so I could escape for a little while capturing their wedding ceremony! So here are the photos I captured where I sneak out he-he-he!

Being a "photo-booth" photographer is kind of fun too; you met and talk with lots of people more than when you are just roaming around as wedding photographer itself. What I love is capturing kids and their expressions while we are at the wedding and this is one of the example :

Anyway, Elisa & Davis's photo-booth is kind of cute and this is my first time too. So many people queueing and wanted their photos to be taken even surprisingly, more families than their friends in the booth! Lately in Jakarta, it's new on having a photo-booth session in a wedding and soon it'll be totally a trend in here. I just took random photos like always but to see the whole photo session, don't hesitate to join my photography's fans page on Facebook : Aozora Photography . And in case, you didn't know, I finished checking and editing the 600 photos in two days because they had to go back to Singapore, ha-ha-ha! I really LOVE what I do :)

Nanny's Pavillion @ Bandung

What I love about Nanny's Pavillion isn't their food but the uniqueness of the place itself! Classy, girly but enjoyable - great interior and imagination I guess :) They have different theme at each place and this time I'm visiting the ones in Bandung with Garden theme but preferably the ones at Sukajadi I think ( Libary's theme). Well, this one isn't too cozy and totally boiling! However, despite of the warmness because of the weather, this place is actually good enough to celebrate either a birthday party or even simple engagement party with friends or family.

This time I tried their Tuna sandwich and a new waffle - peanut butter with caramel sauce or whatever it's called and I drank Strawberry milkshake. While three of my friends ordered : Creeps and waffles Blueberry and Sausage Cheese Baked Rice. I didn't try the crepes but the baked rice is just alright, a bit tasteless and definitely not as good as the ones at Hongkong Cafe, Central Park, Jakarta. While their Tuna Sandwich is worth to try, it's good and though it's look just tiny sandwich but you gonna be full right after you finished it.

I think I have mentioned that the best thing about Nanny's is their waffle even Pancious couldn't beat theirs.  Their main courses is just too ordinary, sometimes tasteless and definitely not as good as the price offered he-he-he! I dare not to comment about their crepes since I never try one, next time I'll. But Nanny's Pavillion is definitely designed beautifully and great place for hang out or even just for PRE-WED photo sessions! But have lowered expectation for their main courses, it's just totally disappointing.  I like a tasty and creamy food better so If your taste is like mine, then you'll be disappointed as I do but I think generally speaking, their main course is just not that good.

Devi & Fritz - WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

This is one of my favorite photos of my very good friend's wedding on last Saturday, 8th January 2011. My 2nd wedding on this first month and I have to admit this is another awesome weddings I had been into. The emotions on each of Devi's and Frit'z parents were so strong especially when you zoomed your lens. It's simple wedding not glamourous but awesome and as Photographer and guest, I'm in love with this wedding.

On the 22nd December, I captured their PRE-WED photos and after around 2 weeks, there was I capturing their precious moments. And I converted this colored photo into black and white to get the emotions deeper and seriously, If you were a parent and checking out this photo, you are going to just LOVE IT! For their wedding, I decided to  capture from different angles and that was from the 2nd floor of the chapel. I knew I would be missing their parents', bride and groom's faces while they entered the chapel, but I knew this is how I would want my photos to be done! - High Angles!

Some photos from the church :

And here are the ones from the Receptions :

This couple is so lovable that their friends came along away only to just see their wedding! Two from USA and the rest are from Singapore. Surprisingly, they just came for 3 days only then went back again even Devi's bosses came all the way from Singapore!!!!! WOW, Awesome, isn't?

Well, like usual, for more photos, please kindly check them at my photography's page on Facebook called : Aozora Photography . Thank you :D!
